Initative for Research & Innovation In STEM (IRIS)

The Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM (IRIS) is a prominent national platform in India that nurtures and promotes young scientific talent. It is a public-private partnership program supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Broadcom, and it is organized by the EXSTEMPLAR Education Linkers Foundation. The IRIS National Fair, held annually, provides a stage for school students (grades 5-12) to showcase their innovative STEM projects across 21 subject categories. Winners from this fair earn the prestigious opportunity to represent India at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the largest pre-college science competition globally, held in the USA​. Receiving a certification from IRIS (Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM) for my scientific innovation at the national level was a pivotal moment in my journey. This opportunity allowed me to showcase my project and participate in a mentorship program in Chandigarh, which deepened my commitment to science and technology
